A bit vague in terms of context and not sure what interview it's from, but here you go:

Manchester City manager Roberto Mancini has quashed speculation linking Napoli midfielder Marek Hamsik with a move to Eastlands.

Reports in Italy claimed City were keen to acquire the Slovakia international, who has also been a reported target of Chelsea and Manchester United.

However, Mancini said today he is not interested in the 22-year-old.

“Hamsik is not part of Manchester City’s plans,” Mancini said.

Hamsik scored 12 goals in 37 league appearances for Napoli last season. He joined Napoli in the summer of 2007 and is under contract until June 2012.

thats so fecking annoying when we are let down by mancini, he would have been a class act. why the f*ck are we not in for him. we'd pick him up for about 20 million. bargain considering what we'd pay for milner tbh

my 10 year old daughter heard in school today it is just a smoke screen for iniesta?

I heard that too, but I heard that the hamsik smokescreen for iniesta is actually all itself a smokescreen for Abou Diaby.

Very surprised at this tbh, i read an article in which mancini was waxing lyrical over this kid.... stating how he tried to get inter to sign him. Goes on to say how he thinks the boy is so talented and has the ability to be one of the best.

Young, hungry, talented plays in a position we are weak in, very very strange how he would not interest us imo.
