Typical media - probably been blown up from a nephew of Mancinis being overheard requesting his Uncle Bobby buy him a Meccano set for Christmas.

Away from a lecture on newspaper trust, it just adds further intrigue to Bob's stance at the club. If he was willing to walk as easily as that, what else would it take for him to go?

How would it start if you were to think it might be true?
The Guardian would simply not print this if they weren't sure. If this is not true, expect a statement anytime soon from City or Mancini stating it to be complete bullshit. If not, well silence speaks volumes.

If you thought there was a chance your job would vanish what would you do?

It would be newsworthy if he were in negotiations to leave City, but is it significant if he turned down a better financial offer to stay at City?
