Mancini (Formally part of the Adebayor thread)

How many top players have we got at our club that seem to be happy with Mancini/the club compared to those who have been moved on?

What would you rather have, a Premier League winning squad or a couple of individuals, a Premier League and FA Cup trophy or no Mancini?

Trust me when I say that if player power was allowed to succeed then Mancini would not have been at this club to take us forward.

And this is coming from an Ade and Bellers fan.

.
God knows what some of these people are thinking, when they slag Bobby off, accusing him of spending millions and only winning the PL on goal difference.
Who gives a shit ? Well not our Owner, nor Khaldoon, otherwise his 5 year contract would never have been signed by them.
Bobby has made mistakes and I bet he realises that himself, but its mistakes that you learn from and then turn those negatives into positives, which in turn has already turned the Clubs fortunes around.
Well done Bobby and thank you Sheikh Mansour and Khaldoon for trusting our popular and winning Manager.

The arguments about Mancini's ability to manage "personalities" such as Robinho, Ireland, Adebyaor and Bellamy have raged since he became manager. Two trophies down the line you have to say Mancini has prevailed.

The notion that these players have never been a problem elsewhere is fanciful, and I suspect some of those criticising the way Mancini has dealt with it would laud Ferguson's similarly ruthless approach.

Sorry if someone else has mentioned this but I thought it was widely known Bellamy had a personal training regime under Hughes, unique to him, and when Mancini came in and wanted to do his own training stuff Bellamy refused. Now a player who refuses to train as you want is not a player you want to be playing a competitive match for you is it? Bellamy and Adebayor are good players but we have done fine without them and I don't think Ade is better than Dzeko. In my opnion, if Dzeko went do to a lesser team and became the star player he would get 20+ goals a season.

Hey why don't we do something completely out of the blue and you know use Adebayor...? The same striker who scored 17 goals and got 11 assists for Tottenham last year.

I never understood why we bought Dzeko when we already had him. Using him would make sense but the bust up between him and Marcini was enough to see him banished so its a no go.

Probably because Adebayor is a fucking dick and has major attitude problems?

end thread here, time to move on Ade you money grabbing leech.

we all need to move on!!

Wenger won jack shit for years.

Mourinho is best manager in world imo.

Wenger can be criticised about defensive organisation and focus, his stubbornness and his view on wage structure parity.

Mourinho should only be questioned about his treatment of Schevchenko, to treat a modern marvel the way he did was appalling but he made his point to Roman. Great manager who had Fergie h2h all day long. Was gutted when Roman sacked him, I hoped Mourinho would nail Fergie to the cross. Would have been good seeing his Chelsea v the United that had Ronaldo, Rooney and Tevez attack. I would say that CL win of Uniteds wouldn't be theirs either.

Goodnight

Mourinho is similar to Mancini but I reckon Mancini will do one better and win the Champions league with a premier club us!..

Mourinho is a level above imo. I hope and pray we win under Mancini and I hope he sees out not only his 5 years but another 5 too.

Should he not, Mourinho is the man I want in, make no mistake about that.

Really have gotta go. Laters.

Yeah maybe just a notch better but footballs a funny game in 5 years time things might be different

Only just read this thread. Well done NipHolmes for keeping your patience and arguing your corner.

However you should realise this is a debating forum which, for a certain few individuals, means following the faith blindly and not questioning anything. We won the premiership so we are gods. If you break this rule you are a muppet/paedo/imposter or, even worse, a rag. And anyone who supports you is either a licker of private parts or your mum in disguise, probably both.

Please remember these ground rules before posting again. ;-)

Surely anybody can see there are two sides to this argument.

1) Some very able players have been discarded, which is a waste of resources that only a mega-rich club could afford. Mancini may be a top manager, and we love him, but there are one or two inconsistencies. He's not beyond constructive criticism.

2) We don't see what goes on behind the scenes. Ade has attitude and Bellers has form. It was right to move them on, whatever the cost, in the interests of team spirit. This was positive management and the proof of the pudding is we are now champions.

[With apologies to those who HAVE been prepared to debate].

Adebayor is better technically, a lot better in fact. He would suit our game with his pace but Mancini just doesn't like him.

You guys are bang on, this is the part of Mancini that doesnt sit well with me. He treats some players like absolute shit for no apparent reason. I couldn't get over the way he made a mockery of Bellamy no matter how much Bellamy announced his desire to play for the club, apologise and move on. Was it ever made clear what he actually did? Apart from put 100% into everything he did while here? No matter how well Bellamy played, it wasn't good enough for Mancini, which culminated in Mancini preferring to start Jo ahead of him! What a bag of shit Jo was, Bellamy was 10 times the player he was. Im convinced this cost us a fair few points that season. For all the praise Mancini gets, he definitely is not devoid from some serious man management flaws.

Remember you have no idea what goes on in the dressing room and that is HUGE in terms of team spirit.

There is a fair chance (Esp Bellamy) that they disrupted the dressing room and took focus away from Mancini's message.

Also the fact both got shipped out and we won...... THE PREMIER LEAGUE (still hasnt sunk in)

I'll side with Bobby on this if its ok......

Exactly the point, these are the types of issues you look at if you don't win the league.
Full backing of Mancini over ade.
There is one major difference between dzeko and ade,
Dzeko wants to stay and fight !!! Ade clearly doesnt want to fight for his
Place.

So, there we have it, the crux of the whole debate.

Mourinho!

PS. 'Make no mistake about that', sounds familiar?
