I am very worried when Yaya leaves what we will do because he holds that midfield together?.

AJ poor touches, lost 99% of the balls, poor passes. Poor crossing and shots.
Refused to track back I have been backing him since the start but he is a bench player as is Dzeko. Best chance they had to show what they have and they failed badly.

Bring back Balotelli and start Silva against Liverpool.

Yaya's attitude today and against Chelsea is hardly awe inspiring.

Have a look at his stats how much he runs how many passes he completes. You will see how bad we miss him when he is not here. He did everything he could today and has started EVERY game for a reason. Him and Silva are easily our best players.

Sometimes I think he's still not up to speed with the premier league. He gets mugged to often or beaten to the ball. He should anticipate that someone is going to be on you in seconds. Not going to blame him for this one though as it was our quality in front of goal that let us down.

I don't doubt his quality, but I do at times think he's playing with the snooze button on. We will miss him, though, for sure.

Johnson was even worse than Dzeko and Kolarov today. Just a god awful performance and some may be fooled by a few nice tricks he did, but how many times does he lose the ball?

You can go down the league table and pick out a number of run-of-the-mill average wingers like Etherington and Jarvis who don't lose the ball as much as Johnson did today, and who actually seem to be able to consistently beat a man. He is a selfish player too which is infuriating as he's actually quite intelligent when he wants to be but said selfishness often leads to the wrong decision.

There are only two players in our regular matchday squad who don't seem up to the level of this club to me - Johnson and Kolarov. Others can be debated but these two consistently disappoint.

If Liverpool came in with an offer of around £20m for him I'd bite their hand off. I can name at least 15 better wingers in Europe (probably more) and many of them would cost less than what we might get for Johnson.

Worrying that so many are out of form at the moment.

I'm not gonna start slagging individuals but generally the passing was poor, energy levels not good enough, our approach was too slow -until Silva came on at least.

We REALLY need to step it up if we're to win this League

Adam Johnson was poor today , and Dzeko was dreadful ... yet it was still a City performance that bossed practically the whole game ....... but once again the final ball was absolutely pityful throughout the entire match.

Gonna be difficult to beat Liverpool now in 48 hours time with confidence down after that result today , but that's exactly what we've got to do .....

AJ failed to put his mark on the game although its tough to do that with 2 players marking you constantly. Thought it was smart of Mancini to bring on Richards to take the pressure off of him. Beginning to think That AJ is now a more impact player which is a shame as he has so much skill.
