The most pertinent bit for me is...

We have an important target and, when we reach that target, then we can talk about contracts. What is important now is that Shaun plays very well for the team. The important thing is the team. We have time to discuss his contract later.

So please Shaun, shut the fuck up and concentrate on figuring out how bring some end product to your otherwise headless chicken wing play...

As almost always I agree with mancini, there will be plenty of time to negotiate a new deal in the summer, right now just concentrate on getting us to that fourth spot.

Yep. Personally I think justice would be to sign a world class winger this summer and ship Shaun out to some footballing backwater like Sunderland and teach him and his team of advisors a proper lesson.

I agree with Mancini. However to be fair its not SWP who needs to "shut the fuck up",has he said anything in the press? Its the father figure in his life that needs to keep his trap shut and let things happen behind closed doors.

Actually, SWP has spoken to the press about it - most of it bullshit: "its not about the money"

Yeah, totally agree. It's going to be tight enough, we don't really need any distractions between now and the end of the season.

i like SWP, but if we want to win titles we need 2-3 top midfielders, and if we get them SWP will unfortunately be reduced to a squad player.

Most of the shittalking has tbf been done by Ian Wright.

Hey Shaun, asn't your Father done enough damage to your career. It was him who influenced your decision to go to Chelski and look how that ended up. Now he's determined to stir it up for you at City. Tell him spend some time with Bradley instead. Had he done that in the first place maybe both of you would be playing in the premier league!

Yeah he did the big 'it's not about the money, yet some players earn double over me' interview last weekend.

SWP is 28 years of age. He needs to tell his step dad from hell to fuck right off. And he needs to stop worrying about what everyone else is earning and concentrate on the job in hand.

Good comments by Mancini, its clear he's not here to mess about or be influenced second rate gobshites on the radio. 4th place is the only concern any player not 100% committed to that can fuck off.

Seems to me these rumours of discontent only appeared after Adam Johnston signed.

A winger who can cross a ball. I'd be shitting it too if i was sweep.
