Mancini: The Players haven't welcomed me...

Nor could I see it happening under Hughes.

I think even the Hughes outers will understand where Simon23 is coming from. It's been a risky decision and Mancini has one hell of a job on his hands to win the Hughes loyalists over and keep the 'vultures" at bay. Its important we get off to a good start.
A risk worth taking if you ask me, at worst this season may end up a write off under Mancini, IMO it looked a definite write off under Hughes.

Not sure it's that much of a risk anyway. I honestly think Mancini can't do any worse (though I don't want to tempt fate) even if he too proves a disappointment and we always have the option to start again in the summer.

We are 6th & in a cup semi finall & that's a write off.
I know what you are doing, you believe that you have to get your excuses in early or on a wu.
I'm confident that we will have a good season but the risk taken was ill advised,i still believe the owner & not the board have done this & that is why cook is struggling giving City's side because he ain't fuckin bin told.
Shit i bit again didn't i ...........

6th, and in a semi-final at xmas is the sort of write off we can do well without

especially after all the years of success we've had to rejoice in
6th is slightly skewed by our great start to the league, the defence has been getting worse recently and showing no signs of improving. I had no confidence in Hughes getting the better of Fergiscum over two legs.

I see...

All we needed was a defensive coach...talk about a sledgehammer to crack a nut.

We'll never know what Hughes would have done now so time to move on. I thought he was doing a reasonable job and we will now see if Mancini can do better. Hughes was never the owner's choice at the end of the day and Mr Cook wasn't either..............

tables don't lie, we are sixth

abysmal failure at best, much worse than we have had to put up with

if we don't make top 4 then the change has been a failure

How could we have kept hold of sixth place when we conceded 12 goals, all told, against Bolton Sunderland, Hull and Burnley. It honestly seemed to be getting worse under Hughes, not better, and that was reflected in his increasingly negative, can't-do pronouncements as the season went on.
