Still not one person has given one reason why his displeasure is best expressed through the media. 'He was asked a question' is completely irrelevant. All he needed to say was 'I haven't talked to vinny yet' or 'vinny juat loves playing football' or some other non-committal answer.
C'mon Dave, we all know that Bobby Bluster simply HAS to do it in front of the media, because he gets off on it. Nevermind that Vinnie has an obligation to play for country if deemed fit, and that refusal to do so carries the spectre of a FIFA ban, because our petulant drama-queen of a manager doesn't agree. When the new man comes in the summer, no matter who he might be, the squad will be 40% better simply because the players will be training and playing for someone they not detest. This is the same kind of disaffection we saw with Bobby during his last season with Inter. He's done this before, he's doing it now, and he will do it again, because his churlish behaviour is something driven by his personality issues.
Will Ferdinand receive such a FIFA ban then? He's fit to play and refused? Had Vinny been nobbled in this game after such a long lay off, no one here of course would have questioned Mancini's judgement in allowing him to play would they?
