Mancunian Words

with the possible exception of Bobbins, which could of come from any cotton town, I haven't seen ANY strictly Mancunian words there...there is buzzing with a dropped g, that work would be in the bog standard english dictionary, TA is used all over the north and midlands, knob and head are very much bog standard english words....

I remember playing Palace away and one of the Palace lot got a bit excited outside the ground (all front ) and one of the lads says "You want some mither"

Palace fans replies "Mither, what the fucks mither" - they had never heard of it "Darn Sarf"

in the hong kong chippy outside eastlands its known as a chip muffin whereas in nottigham it would be known as a chip cob.
