Hot lemonade with a large spoon of honey and a decent slug of whiskey mixed in before bed, two aspirin if you have them.

Came to say almost same (except replace whisky by tea:)
Brew a tea bag . Take it off cup . Add in a dash of honey n squeeze a lemon . Works very well for me. And you may repeat it as and when. Speedy recovery UWOB

Hate the term "man flu". In my experience it tends to be used by women who think they are being hilarious by implying that men are soft and can't cope with feeling ill. They don't seem to be quite so good humoured if you tell them they're being soft when they whinge about being on their period and describe it as "having the painters in". Anyway, I hope you recover from your bout of flu swiftly.

spent Easter getting soaked and cold. At least the weather is better today so I can properly enjoy the sore throat and temperature I got for Easter. Would have preferred a chocolate egg mind..........
