Mani - Made of Stone tribute tomorrow

What better way for the blue half of the city to show their love and appreciation for Mani, than to have our Made of Stone tribute reverberate around st James’ on loop tomorrow evening?

As seen in the many comments on this website and across social media, Mani always came across as a really nice guy who had time for him. Like Ricky Hatton, he never let fame or success go to his head and was always a champion of our great city. As seen with Hatton’s recent sad passing, red or blue doesn’t come into it when we have lost such a positive and iconic figure of our city.

I would dearly love for the blue contingent to show our love for him tomorrow evening during what promises to be a fantastic match up against Newcastle. Altogether now….

Such a nice guy. I was talking to him once just as Noel texted him to take the piss out of him for a United loss. I feel so sorry for his two lads who have lost both great parents in two years.

Did he ever tell you about the time he went out for milk & decided to check his bank account to see if there was enough money in to pay for it. He found that a substantial amount had been put in as an advance for the Stone Roses reunion tour.
