I can’t claim to have watched him much for Toulouse, but 0 goals in 31 games seems a very poor effort if he was playing as an advanced midfielder.

Toulouse changed its system and Garcia, consequently, was asked to play a more defensive role than before. He did so, without complaint, and developed physically as the season progressed. I'm all in favour of him staying the season.

I think future of Garcia's depend on Gundogan extending his stay, as others have said. Manu could be a decent option if Gundogan leaves with David end of season, especially being Club grown.

    Low fee = low buyback.

Spanish, French, Italian, and Belgian clubs have all reportedly enquired about him, but he seems to have had his heart set on returning to Sporting. Hope he has a great season and earns a buy back next year.

That said, for a player who was reportedly one of the top five young foreign players in Ligue 1 last season, a drop to the Segunda is not really inspiring.

I'm struggling to think what he could realistically do in the Segunda to earn a buyback. It's a disappointing move.
