Once again baffled by the comments by one or two. Nothing Pellegrini did last night was particularly out of the ordinary. Zaba, Vinny and Clichy for different reasons needed a break. Bony needed a start. Same with Navas. Thought the team was pretty self explanatory, as was the result if not the performance.
Continues to amaze me how this side can play within themselves and yet still carve the opposition open so many times nobody would have batted an eyelid had we scored six or seven goals.
I think the one thing which Pellegrini has shown since the criticism of him began is that he isn't for bending or changing, and as importantly, it's patently obvious he has the support of the players and the board of directors. Good on him.
