Not a bad payout over the past 10 years really is it?

Thank you for the memories of our title winning season and all the best to you.
A very, very wealthy average football manager.

or well back to his day job

Yeah, Potter’s a good shout. Although we beat them 4-0, they played some great stuff.
I thought the score line flattered us, but could you imagine Potter's philosophy with high quality players?
I would pay to watch that for sure.
If he maintains and improves I could see us been interested in the future.

I can see this guy getting a very big job in the future.
Did a very good job at Swansea and now at Brighton, dare I say it he is looking like an English clone of Pep by the day.

What he did at Östersund, taking them deep into the EL, was beyond anything that anyone thought was possible. He seems to have a system that works well and can be adapted to pretty much any type of players.

He also seems to be very good at getting the best out of young players. Seems to be a very competent coach. Assuming Brighton stays up, I would like to see what he can do if he gets the backing to bring in players capable to bring more penetration in attack, which is what I think they lack

Because this is a results business. Hughton may well be boring, but he kept them in the league.

Ultimately Brighton are no better off than they were under Chris and whilst I acknowledge there is a clear change in style, and that appeases the fans, they are in the same position and before today were in a bit of a crisis. That was a huge result.

Bottom line is staying in the prem and Brighton are again on the edge of doing that, no matter how pretty it looks.

You've got to turn style into points and so far Potter hasn't done that.

Looks good on the eye but they have a soft centre and don't score enough goals.

Think you’ve been harsh on him there. I Understand it’s a results business but it’s completely unrealistic to expect him to be doing any better with the squad at his disposal, they’re completely toothless upfront, with Shane long reincarnated and a 47 year old Glenn Murray to call I don’t think you can blame the manager. that’s a bottom 3 squad comfortably.

I saw them dismantle spurs, outplay arsenal in their own backyard and saw some of the most impressive football from an opposing team at the Etihad against a Pep team from them.
To be playing the football Brighton are with that squad to me shows the guy has serious quality as a coach and that quality will shine through at a team with better players and more funds available
