Manuel Pellegrini

Decent, sincere and genuine. You couldn't want anything other than for him to do well.

But I think that whilst he was in charge (if in fact he actually ever was) at City, ultimately he failed to command the respect of the big name players, and it showed.

City lacked desire in his last 2 seasons it was terrible. Players just strolling basically bar the odd match. Not sure he is what Leicester need.

Could it not be the players knew he was simply filling a gap until Guardiola arrived? Those circumstances would be pretty unique, you have a decent manager but players know the best manager arguably ever is on the way. They are only human and the "what is to come" kind of giddiness would be hard to temper.

I would not soley level on that factor but i would suggest it played rather a large part in our apathetic approach.

They're still professional though and that really shouldn't make an impact.

A nice man. Too nice. I don't think he managed hard enough and in a squad with big names you need to be able to do that and also find a way to get the best out of them.

I wish him all the best though, a very sincere man.

I agree with that on him struggling with many big ego's and hope it is mostly that with any apathy in our play was reflex and not a conscious action. There were positions i guess were lacking in also. Sadly Joe is showing a bit of why we struggled although i wish him the very best.

I felt in the last 2 years yaya and vinny were in charge and not him
Looks like hammers and everton might be up for grabs soon,i wouldn't take the foxes just yet

60 odd points in his last season says it all for me.
The way we played especially in that last season was an absolute disgrace. He won the league with us but with the spending power available and the weakness of our rivals I still think we should have won more. I genuinely don't think he had a clue what he was doing.
