Waiting for Axelrod to return...
they have a colour ad in the MEN today advertising all tickets for sale at the swamp 2nd leg.

Considering the 1st leg was cancelled, and how close it would have been to the return, there must still be thousands of tickets left for a debt-ridden club to justify finding the money for the ad in the first place.

Would be great to see us take over the whole place.

Got to be honest and think its a pretty poor show that we've been unable to sell out the home leg too.

The Swamp 2/3rds full of blues, that would be class.

I heard a couple of weeks ago - and I might be wrong or this might have changed now - that the "open sale" tickets at the aforementioned swamp were subject to the purchaser also signing up to their equivalent of Citycard. So it would be match ticket (£40) plus £10/20/30 (however much their membership is).

If this is true, it tests the resolve and finances of City fans who want to go down that road to get a ticket.

Luckily I've got my ticket in the City end, I hate going there and being in amongst the City fans, not sure I could stomach sitting in the home end amongst the plastics!

i think you ll find that there are very few left for the home game...certainly no more than 100...they will be snapped up by ko......actually i ve been told we ve sold out but not had it confirmed yet, i ll be amazed if there is any left, people were just getting their finances in order after xmas

If this is not an incentive for all those moaning about not getting a ticket in our end I dont know what is.
Buy a ticket(s) in there end and we will take it over. 25,000 blues there would be superb and would finally let everyone see the tide has turned. We know it some of them know it but the press dont. In front of the cameras it would be sweet.
Then at full time everyone down the front cheering off the blue shirted heroes - like some people did at Wembely v Gills, class sitting there for over 2 hours gobs shut then celebrating when all the Gills had gone home.

True, but we're not the biggest club in the galaxy with 350m followers as they claim.
get real everyone knows man united RULE the universe, and clearly have 450 zillion fans and will win every trophy from now till the end of time, ffs were little city, why should they worry about the little fella next door?

We can't be too far off selling out. You can't order on-line any more.

if we are 2 goals to the good,i think a lot of blues would snap up tickets for their end.fingers crossed eh!

I was in the Stretford Paddock in 91 as a teenager, with about 500 other blues.

They didn't know what it em' - still one of my best-ever derby experiences.

It would be amazing to see pockets of resistance all over the place - behind the Stretford End goal, especially.

I did that during the away fan ban at Luton, they threatened to throw opposition fans out - but there were too many of us.

Still remember the lads daft enough to wear Stone Roses T-shirts, thinking they were being clever, getting turned away from turnstyle.
