I think he is proving himself as a class manager. Just look at the brilliant rapport he has with his players.
 
Excuse me, but I am being serious. After he has had some more experience and Mancini has had his go. Why not?

How is it a silly suggestion when I am being serious?
 
The Argies worship him as a god. Unless we field 11 of them he isn't likely to gain the same sort of undying loyalty as he is by his countrymen. Many would despise him. Also, they may be hitting form now but the Argies were fairly wank in the qualifying stages.
 
He isnt as good as he seems. Look at what players argentina have i think even i could manage them.

Because..

A) The media would eat him alive
B) He doesn´t fit in our owners picture of the cub
C) He´s a proven manager when he can make a shit team perform well, not Argentina..

I could go on..

Beat me to it, the difference will tell when they get to the semis/final and tactics/subs become important factors.

We cheated in 2002. Owen dived, it was never a pen.

He has so far done well after a shaky start. Yes, he struggled at first, but Argentina were playing below par before he took over, and he was new to management, but he got them there, and so far they're the best team in the tournament. Ofcourse having such quality players helps, but its not as easy as some of you think, there are lots of egos and personalities to manage, its very possible to screw up with a great team, just look at Domenech with France, or Scolari at Chelsea. The Argentine players all have a raport with Maradona, you could see at the end of the Korea game, how much respect they have for him and trust him. Its early doors, but I see the OP's point, he could make an excellent manager. The guys not an idiot, he understands the game a hell of alot better than the people on Bluemoon, who think that football management is all about picking 11 players, and making the odd substitution.
