Fair point that, not sure on his timeline for return, so hadn’t even factored him in tbh.If Gonzalez is back for Wednesday I wonder if he could step into their ala Fernandinho

Damien, Tolmie, Hugo himself ?I’ve heard word we’re making a move…
We aint winning the league are we. If we do be best effort yetI can't profess to knowing either way to be honest. I guess we're about to find out!
Summer or now?I’ve heard word we’re making a move…
So Girona one place above the drop zone with a GD of -17, second worst in La Liga.We should have got Reis back yesterday! There is a recall clause, as there is with the never to be seen again, Echeverri.
Rated best young defender in La Liga and playing in a style similar to City’s suggests we’ve made yet another misstep, post injuries.
I am not sure what your expecting, a 19yr old CB to single handedly be keeping Girona in the CL spots? So Girona one place above the drop zone with a GD of -17, second worst in La Liga.
As I posted earlier, that doesn’t suggest to me he’s doing that well (?) - though I don’t watch their matches so don’t really know.
Maybe the club do know what they are doing? I’m not gonna be quick to judge them on this, and if he does start v Exeter, really keen to see how Alleyne gets on - fingers crossed!
good enough for me, great window opening up with those two on the booksI’ve heard word we’re making a move…
Is he any good?
That’s why I asked the question. If you’ve been watching him in games then great, I’ve not, so thanks for sharing how he’s doing. From the outside though, it’s a reasonable question to raise if he’s one of the central planks of such a porous defence.I am not sure what your expecting, a 19yr old CB to single handedly be keeping Girona in the CL spots?
As an individual hes been doing ok imo, its a tough position to be in but its a very good learning experience for him.
I guess this takes care of our need to sign a centre back in January.
No reason for Palace to let him go at this point unless they get silly money and really no reason for him to leave now either.
If we went and put £40m on the table, they probably have to sell. But just not worth it for 3 and a half months of football.
