The French media are obsessed with Kante to PSG this summer so maybe they are interested in offloading Verratti after so many summers of demanding to leave then settling for a new contract.

I can't decide whether I'd like this transfer or not. He comes across as a bit of a dick, I've always felt he was a bit overrated in the true sense - very good, but not worth the accolades he gets. Also has a habit of, like many PSG players, disappearing on the big CL stage when it matters.

On the other hand he is a good age, the price quoted isn't crazy and at the end of the day the squad with him in it would be inarguably stronger.

Doesnt surprise me but think it would show a serious commitment to winning the CL if we did....squad is good enough for the Prem but think this is the missing piece to winning the CL....get the feeling we would rather "settle" for what we have than overpay for someone.

The chavs will be lucky to win a raffle this season. He's a decent player but chose money over ambition. We don't want that sort of player.
