Right well I don't really know what to say to that. Well apart from the fact that those are dreadful examples as they both have at least a couple of academy players in their sides.

If Tolmie says Verratti has been offered to us, I have no reason to disbelieve him.
However, I don’t think we’d entertain spending £80m on him.
Furthermore, it could well be a case of Mino trying to get his client a better deal at PSG.

I'd prefer us to give more game time to Foden and Diaz even if we miss out on a few trophies in the short term.
They play completely different positions so I'm not sure what Foden and Diaz have to do with Verratti.

Most likely the case. We can’t be dragged through the shit again. If they seriously wanted to do business I’d have him in heartbeat but this doesn’t seem genuine that a player of his calibur would be offered to anyone at this stage.
Agree that is true. But if we buy him Gundongan will play more games in an advanced position. Dinho also might play in a two. All of this will affect who gets picked further forward..They play completely different positions so I'm not sure what Foden and Diaz have to do with Verratti.
