my point is that Milner is primarily a wide option, left or right, and occasional CM (but poor), emergency RB/LB/striker. so we need someone who can play LM/RM/LW/RW

lopes can do all attacking roles IMO, and his goal-scoring potential is seemingly better than all our attacking midfielders

he also showed very good work rate last year whenever he appeared for us

i don't think he's either, I think he's different, but I think he should be in our squad & both City & Lopes should work on finding a role for him. If that means he has to adapt to a different role to get in the team, then that's what he should do.

Great second half from him and a correct first one. The only way Lyon players could stopped him today was by foul, but even that dit not worked 'succesfully' in the case of his goal. :)

His assist was a great touch as well.

Lopes will go on to become a really good player in my opinion, he could save us a lot of money.

He only has on year left on his deal, it's now or never in the summer to promote him because he could do a Pogba.

Hope he signs new deal, I'll be surprised if he doesn't. Hope both lopes and kelechi make it next season, whether they're starting or on the bench wouldn't mind either
