Then said Mario did not want to take to the field in a CL semi againt Barca. You can have all the talent in the world but if you pull these kind of stunts then you are a liabilty to the club.

As an example of how attitude is just as, or more important than quality. Position for position, United squads have often been out gunned by their opponents quality wise, yet still they tend to win most matches due to their attitude and mentality.

Also, it's not up to me to list what his qualities are. Even if I had never seen Balotelli play, the very fact that people who have forgotten more about the game than you will ever know keep saying the same things about him having the qualities to be one of the best in the world is enough for me.

As for your point about which is more important between quality and attitude, very debatable. A 25 man squad of Javier Garridos won't be winning you titles any time soon. I agree, which is why I said above that both are necessary.

And could we please be civil here? I mean, even if we do not share each others opinions, we are all City fans right? Understanding an opinion is not required, but I do think we should respect each other's right to think and feel differently.

Just because I personally think we could have a better player for Mario in our squad does not mean I don't scream at the top of my lungs in euphoria when he scores.
