Mario

Agent confident Balotelli will not leave Manchester City

"In England, only tabloids write about Balotelli and I use them to clean my car," Mino Raiola told Sky Italia.

"People expect always a lot from Mario so everything he does is amplified. Mario wants to do well for Mancini, who is a big friend of Balotelli.

"Mancini says Balotelli will be sold this summer? I don’t think so. I will talk to the club and Mancini."

He also expressed his belief that Balotelli's actions in the match were not intentional, apologising for his behaviour after a dangerous tackle on Arsenal's Alex Song.

"I spoke with Balotelli and he was very sorry for what happened today," Raiola said. "I didn’t see the incident but like Mancini said, things can happen.

"I don’t want to discuss the chance that Balotelli can leave the Premier League. If Mario wanted to leave he didn’t need to do it like this but simply to ask the club."

Talking is all you can do Raiola because your boy is getting the fucking boot.

Prefer to sell him with a first option clause (in case he does sort himself out) than loan him. He might be mature and focused in maybe 5 years time but we can't afford to wait that long.

He was the fourth, or maybe third choice striker to begin with. Hes been picking up the slack for the other three, give him a break.

I think he's worth keeping

Goodbye Mario, looks like your time is up.

Milan would take him, they are looking to build the history's most volatile dressing room, Mario would be an asset to that.

He has been given enough already, more than enough.

Your in no way thinking for the total benefit of mcfc imo here and have Balo tinted specs on.

He brought enough disruption to the squad and not enough on the pitch.

Anyway it's mute now he is of in the summer so thats a bonus.

Everyone has given Mario a chance. With that trust, he has spent around 15 games suspended.

How can any striker be that fucking dumb to get the equivalent of 4 reds in 1 season??? 2 reds in the same game?

I just don't see a future for him in football unless he can control himself.

If it comes to selling Mario it could be Napoli he goes to. Didn't their owner say he'd love to have Balotelli over there? Perhaps they need a new nutcase striker to lead them to glory like Maradona. In that case a swap could be possible, Balo plus cash for Lavezzi or Cavani.

This is a very interesting situation for the transfer forum addicts. We now appear to have Tevez, Baloteli and Adebayor for sale. Dzeko out of favour or not rated by Mancini and half the fans too.
I think all of City's shortcomings were on show yesterday. Kompany and Lescott defended well and won the ball but gave the ball straight back to Arsenal. A Hummels type of player would have picked out a decent pass to play out of trouble, something neither Kompany or Lescott are capable of.
Pizarro tried running with the ball out of defence and lost out to Arteta for the goal.
Clichy and Zab both bombed forward at the same time leaving gaps at the back, which our defensive midfielders couldn't fill when they jogged back towards defence. Toure put in two bad fouls, got booked, injured himself (and for a big guy he should have shrugged off a knock to his knee !) Both Hart ealry on and Mario's kick on Song were worse than the knock Yaya got but they both stayed on the pitch all game. Yaya might be City's engine but he only plays when he wants too.
Coming back to Mario he is a liability, but does have talent, if he was protected from the press he would bcome a world class striker, but it won't happen in the UK. The press were gunning for him from the moment the whistle sounded. The only problem was he was one of the few players who looked like he cared about the result which was why he tried so much. Kolarov again had a couple of free kicks and went straight for goal without success.
If we are selling all our frontline I would be very surprised, but I think after yesterday Mancini's tenure at City will now be cut short for sure, and whoever comes in may get the best from Dzeko and Adebayor may also come back into the squad too.

Think we need 1 classy ball playing centre half to partner Vinny. Lescott is great at winning the big headers and being strong, but looks terrified on the ball. Not Champs League/Title quality in my opinion. If i had to sacrifice 1 to bring in someone else, it would be Joleon.

Bit unfair on Pizzaro. He was never in control of the ball to have a run, it was a terrible pass, which should have been launched long to relieve the pressure.

They need pacy wide men infront of them to do this job, so they don't have to bomb forward every time, something thats been lacking all season, and really needs to be looked at.

He was on one from the start, no idea what he was playing at. But, you don't know what kind of knock it was. Could have been a bad one, some you can run off, some you can't....

He needs protecting from himself. He's a target for the press because of his antics. he needs to stop pissing about, work hard, and then maybe he can become a good striker..... i'm still yet to see the world class thing tho?

"As of january, #mcfc owed #inter €5 million on balance of Balotelli transfer. Could help smooth a swift return"

there rumour here that Ancelotti (who rates balotelli lot) is planning 30 million bid for him in summer months

This would be a miracle for us.

I've backed him and think he'll be one of the best in a couple of years but all things considered I'd be tempted to go for that

I'd give him another year at least.

Hopefully he grows up and shows a lot more hunger on the pitch. I'd sell Edin before him.

Typical City : We sell him and he becomes the player we think he will become.

And he does have the potential to be one of the very best, but he's got to start growing up. Hopefully next season will see progress with him
