That’s really sad to hear. My favourite presenter, certainly on the bbc, and probably across all media. Seems a decent genuine bloke, and though it would be a tragedy for anyone, that is so young really. Was it covid-related, or not specified?

The media (BBC) are saying it was "a long standing illness".That’s really sad to hear. My favourite presenter, certainly on the bbc, and probably across all media. Seems a decent genuine bloke, and though it would be a tragedy for anyone, that is so young really. Was it covid-related, or not specified?

Very sad indeed - i did wonder why he was so quiet with his media commitments recently - obvs wanting to spend as much time as possible with his wife towards the end.
