Just heard that he passed away this morning. Really sad news. He was an iconic Mancunian character and a true maverick. RIP.

Sad to hear. And they played 'Hit the North' at the game on Saturday.

Sad news, one of those people who tread the line between genius and lunatic. So much of his music led me down so many musical paths . His cover of ghost in my house is one of my Faves.

    R.i.p blue
