I was firmly in it but then I've always thought the two fluke years with Inter and Porto have seen him overrated.If I'm honest about it, I don't think at that time I'd have been in the busted flush camp. I am somewhat surprised how poorly he's done recently.

To be fair to Southampton, they 'found' Pochettino and Koeman wasn't bad there either. If they hadn't have sold all their players to Liverpool they could be in the top half of the league.Understandable given he was a former saints player but he must be done for now as a top flight manager. That said the pool of 'top flight' managers seems to get smaller and smaller going of the names the papers drop with every vacancy. I hope they have a bit of vision and are willing to take a bit of a risk otherwise might as well get big Sam in!
