I don't think Hughes can get the best out of the squad nor play the most appropriate formation either. If he brings in four or five players that have what it is he needs to play for him, maybe better performance and consistency is around the corner.
As for a successor, I think Hughes is here until the end of the season. If we aren't top ten I think he'll be moved on and the special one brought in.
