Anyone goin? Anyone a fan? I didn't know who he was til Shaun Keaveny gave him a player on radio 6 recently, but saw he was doing a gig at the ritz and gonna give it a go to see what he's like. Big fan of queens of the stone age (though obviously not THAT big cos I didn't know he was in them!) but not heard a lot of his other stuff. Think his latest solo album got 4 stars in mojo and Q magazine so quietly hopeful it's gonna be a really cool gig

Seeing him again in Belfast £18 to see a guy of his pedigree is amazing IMO Huge fan, his output is crazy from Screaming Tree, QOTSA, Soulsavers, Isobel Campbell collaboration, Gutter Twins, Twilight Singers, Duke Garwood collaboration, The Mark Lanegan Band and Solo obviously. Check out his Best of solo album its called 'Has God seen my shadow' .

I love "Field Songs", it is such a great record. I've seen him live a couple of times, it meandered a bit, but if you haven't seen him before you must go. He as an outstanding voice, no one like him really. Apart from Tom Waits.
