Yes, shredless marmalade does not warrant being called marmalade. Apparently sales of marmalade are declining due to younger consumers finding the taste too strong. Good say I - stick to your Farleys rusks washed down with WKD and leave more marmalade for us in our dotage. Also for me marmalade has to be made from oranges, lemon just will not do, nor lime and grapefruit/tangerine concoctions are foul concoctions.

Marmalade and butter has to be one of the worst, widely consumed combinations the human race as ever come up with. Toast and marmalade nice, toast and butter nice, toast and butter and marmalade, just wrong on every level.
