I suspect he'll play a stronger XI than many of us would like to see. Just hope it doesn't bite us on the arse in terms of injuries if he does.
Me too. I think Kev and Rodri will get a rest but most of the others will be in with an option of 5 subs at the 65min mark

We've now got 4 good center backs in their 20s. I cant see THB getting anywhere near the team for a little while barring injuries

Funny how quickly things change, isn't it?

6 months ago we had Laporte and no one else. Stones was on his way out with Otamendi and Garcia.

Things can change just as fast in the future. Stones could relapse and fall out of favour, Aké might move into midfield or he might leave after a couple of years if he's not getting the game time he wants like Danilo did.

Don't think that team will be too far off. Maybe Walker for Cancelo, and not sure he'll risk Jesus ahead of the derby. Think Torres may play as the striker tonight.

Yeah that's a good should, it's probably Torres, although it might even be Aguero based on pep's press conference and his habit of throwing him back in with a start.

I’d be pretty certain that Walker will start on Saturday against united’s inevitable ‘defend deep and counter with pace’ tactic. Harsh on Cancelo who has been great recently but I think that’s how he will go.
Lets hope we handle it better than we did against Spurs, when we appeared to have learned nothing whatsoever and fell into exactly the same traps as the previous season’s fixture

Yeah, you're probably right. Cancelo could still get the nod at left back on Saturday though I suppose.

After seeing what the natural width of Angelino did to United and Wan-Bissaka last night I hope not. That is crying out for Mendy.

(Fill in the blank)

Tonight's team selection will give us _______ hints into the team selection for Saturday ...

My guess is a big fat ZERO!
