Aperently we are linked with Martin Ødegaard who is a norwegian youngster who has high praises. <a class="postlink" href="http://onside.dk/tippeligaen/15-aarig-nordmand-kan-blive-verdens-bedste" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://onside.dk/tippeligaen/15-aarig-n ... ens-bedste</a>
That is a danish article, but i gues im just write some of the key points from the article:
Martin Ødegaard who debuted as the youngest player ever in the norwegian tippeliga this sunday has high praises. Strømgodset head coach Ronny Deila said: In my eyes he can be the worlds best. I have never seen such a talent in norwegian football. He has the potential to go all the way. Martin can be just as good as human possible. Talent, tactical understanding, attitude and movement. It is a good combination."
He was subbed in when the standing was 0-0 in the 72th minute. Stromgodset turned the game to 2-0 and Martin had part in both scorings.
The 15 year and 118 days old player is frequently linked with major european clubs like Bayern Münich, Manchester United and Manchester City, but the major talent would rater stay in norway for a couple of years, and he hopes to sign a proffesionel contract with Strømgodset.
"I can only be part of three matches before i have to turn to a proffesionel contract so it is about to happen." Further then that he describes it as a dream to have his debut match for the club.

Escuse the language, it was just a quick translation, probably loaded with errors, but should be far better then google translate :)
Here is a link to the game. <a class="postlink" href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L1bthUFLjp8" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L1bthUFLjp8</a>

Nøpe. but it will nøt dø øur academy any harm if we did.

Having tried to watch Norwegian football, any great talent will stand out like a sore thumb. It doesn't necessarily mean that they're any good on a world scale, just that the rest are shite.

But from watching that clip, you can definetly tell he has a good confidence in his game, and he isn't unphased from playing senior football. Plus that his teammates belives in him!

'Course they're world class. Ole Gunnar is Norwegian, and he could have had any number of PL jobs.
