Hello, Heard the DJ In Mary D's say he was going to quit at the end of the season, unfortunatly.

I think i heard him say let him know if anyones interested so..I was just wondering anyone want to do it or got a freind who can do it? :)

Yes, unfortunatly he said he needs more time with his family. He said he will listen if anyones interested and said he is leaving at the end of season :(

The world now seems to be overrun with DJs. Like rats, you are never more than 6 feet away from them. I'm in the process of sacking all mine and replacing them with a digital Jukebox. Trust me, it's made me feel much, much better about the world. I can only respectfully suggest that 'Mary' does the same.

Only a DJ tells you that you need a DJ. The world does actually function without them. They are the unnecessary bridge between i-tunes and live music. The days of DJs should already be over. Not that I'm bitter about the two-faced, money-grabbing, venue-wrecking arse wipes...

The pub was being touted at £1.2m - based on match takings of £26,000 a match.

Think one of the reasons club trying to stop the money going to outside ventures.

I don't know why anyone goes in there, it's the best place to be around blues who all want a sing song but the orange water, sorry the beer is awful.

Bwahahahahahahaha! Reminds me on the dragons den when they come up with ridiculous figures that just get pulled apart by the dragons. £1.2 million for Mary D's!? Jesus Christ. And there's not a chance they get anwyhere near £26k on a match day. They'd have to sell about 10,000 pints of the piss they sell and 200 of those dog shit burgers!

Correct. It's like an audition for shameless in there. DJ playing Oasis and 'I am the ressurection', every bloody week. Like you say, crap beer as well. Sadly this is probably one of the better pubs near the ground.
