Right blues, in an arguement with a rag... has there ever been footage of the Munich air crash and have they thrown a party in there for when George Best died?

He claims this, however, my mates have been going in there for years... and they said they remember no such thing happening.

I'm not sure about Best but the former definitely happened - on the same day as the home derby, 05-06 season IIRC. It was footage from a drama screened by the Beeb a few days earlier I think.

I'm not sure what the OP's Rag mate is trying to say though - neither set of fans can really claim the moral high ground on tasteless behaviour. Witness the graffiti on the outside of the exact same pub last season for example.

Yes I was in there when they put the BBC program on, the DJ got every one to cheer when it crashed.

So I heard - that was before the game and I was drinking elsewhere (For some reason I rarely drink in there before matches). However, I went in there after the match and heard all about it. The programme was being screened again but it seemed everyone was too busy celebrating beating them 3-1 to notice it was on.

I don't see any point in lying about this - it happened, despite some people claiming otherwise.
