someone on here posted a topic the other day about how he never washes his home shirt through the season, and only wears it to home games.. it got me wondering if anyone has any funny rituals they perform before/on the day of the match? mines pretty stupid, but every morning i have a game on fifa V the team we're playin that day, i try and make it as realistic as possible, same team i think we'll play, same weather, everythin...couple of times my prediction has been right too! the one time i havn't done one this season is when we lost 3-0 to spurs!

Not a ritual so much as a superstition, but all day long,I have been trying to avoid seeing one solitary Magpie. If I see one before KO now, I will need to go and find two of the twats together, or we are fucked. I've tried the old salute the solitary magpie routine in the past but I know to my cost that this does not work, except between the hours of 7am and Noon, so there might be a problem.

I am agree with Pam, that it is superstition. I also had the same that wear red color ribbon in left arm. one day we were playing the very crucial match and that day we have to wear black ribbon dut to some sad news and I forget to wear red, and you don't beleive that that day I hit 5 goals. So I think that only good game/ hard work make us a good player.

I can't watch any games live, as we have always lost when I've watched the games. Worked a treat this season as we've got our highest finish ever in the NEW premiere league. Couldn't watch anymore after the massacre at Boro, I don't want to be the one blamed for our misery. I know its me as I have such an aura of negative energy around me during games...
