What happens to the players by playing at 7.45 tomorrow that won't happen at mid day.

BMG get to go home early. They'll have planned the whole week around getting home straight after the match tonight. Damage limitation now for them. If the situation was reversed if want the game as early as possible tomorrow and the lads home as early as possible and resting up for the weekends match

UEFA rules say decision about re-arranged game must be made within 2 hours of the decision to postpone the original.
Fucking clowns can't even follow their own rules unless they can't be arsed announcing the decision.

You're more than welcome to ignore me anytime you want.

In the meantime, I'll keep replying to posters quoting me as its only polite and no one has yet explained how fans were safe after the postponement at 7:26pm.
Most were still in their cars at 7:26 because of the state of the roads. They were safer there than walking from the car to the ground.

so what if he needed to be admitted as soon as??? nullifies my arse,, swp you are posting some bizarre stuff tonight
What happens if an old guy has a heart attack at any match at 85mins and needs admitting?

They'd be fucked then due to traffic chaos at the ground. We shall just ignore the medical facilities at the ground for all our hypotheticals eh.

A car. A bus. A faraday cage (like the stadium). Plenty were walking which is why half the first 20 pages are from people saying they are pissed wet through. Either that or they drive a Peugeot.
Stadium is not a Faraday cage it's open But its got 8 very high poles that would take an hit

If they were walking then it clearly wasn't safe for them ;-)
Not sure why you have such a bee in your bonnet tbh. Quite a lot of the fans on their way to the stadium have said they can see why it's been cancelled.
You also have to factor the shyster lawyers into the equation. City call off the game for safety issues and fan gets injured in the storm, City did all they could. City don't call it off and fan gets injured. Shyster4U will be buzzing his tits off. People can knock the over protective health and safety measures all they want, but until they stop sticking a claim in for anything they can, it will never change.

Fucking groundhog day... Last time Sunderland, now BMG. 4.1/2 hour return journey to get within 100 yards of the stadium. That said you cant predict a thunderstorm hours in advance unlike the stormforce winds that the metoffice advised 6 hours before the Sunderland game got postponed (still pissed about that one!) if they re-arrange for early evening i'll have no chance of making it so a refund for me and the lad will be demanded. Oh yeh and which silly **** in the highways agency decided to close the Woodhead pass at 8pm when they stated it would only be closed "overnight" for roadworks.... Thanks for capping off a perfect day whoever you are.
At least you're safe. X
