Rags at home to Spurs on the opening game of the season and not even on as one of the top three games! Beautiful times.
 
Did anyone see the venom in Danny Murphy when asked why Richards didn't live up to his full potential? The way he said "because some club decided to spend 100s of millions of pounds on players" was laughable.

Saw it. How dare we.
However, nice touch from Lineker moving straight on with the comment about the Rags havng spent the most money this summer.
 
I wonder what Murphy and Shearer's views were on Sterling moving to us. According to them Stones going to Chelsea would be a good move.
 
Love Sherwood's comments about getting the players to work 0900-1500hrs, as they earn good money. Fucking hell, a six hour day and it appears from his comments that this is a long day for footballers!

Yeah, but, erm, but. Oh yeah that's it: Everton are in decline therefore Stones has to move to further his career whereas Liverpool are nailed on for the title so Sterling didn't have to move. Or some such bollocks.
