Fair fucks to MOTD for showing the scum demise first.

They buried it last week as it about 5th on the running order.

Let them keep wanking over Liverpool and Chelsea.

Despite their proclaimed brilliance, we’re top of the league without our best player and not playing anywhere near our full potential.

Couple of things that struck me after watching MotD this morning.

First, the Rashford and first West Ham goals are not too dissimilar in that they are both a cheeky/technical backheel. Compare the commentator's reaction to both. The adjectives used to describe the united goal would have you believe it was the best goal of the day, a worldie, you can almost hear him leaving his seat in eagerness to praise. For the west ham goal, a little more subdued, the focus is on the offside and the scorers troubled start to English football, yet blue specs aside I honestly think that was the better finish of the two.

Second, I hope and think Mahrez will have a great season but we should have gone for Hazard this past summer even at double the cost. He's a class above, and with Chelsea at their lowest after last season the chances of him leaving were greater than ever then. Chelsea now seem resurgent and can't see him leaving, for another English team at least.

Their coverage of us was OK, glad to see them highlight Sterling's intelligence and improvements.

There was a fantastic incident during the game when the rags had a corner -I can't remember who took it- but whoever it was the dopey fucker just passed it directly to a West Ham player. Absolute schoolboy stuff.

But even watching the BBC's 'edited' highlights you could see there wasn't one rag player on that pitch giving a 100%. Not one. They consistently failed to chase the ball, they lost their men at set-pieces so often it was like the players had never met before, let alone trained specifically with this game in mind.

To call them shambolic would be like saying Fred and Rose West had some rather anti-social habits.

I watched the second half and it looked like they were happy to pass the ball two yards to a teammate at a snails pace hoping they’d do something with it.

I seem to remember it being Young.

That was Ashley Daley, wasn't it?

The commentator for the United game was terrible. Doesn’t understand the offside law when football is his job, gave West Ham four back handed compliments

I thought Pearce's commentary was alright. Didn't see much difference in the reporting of either. It was more the fact Rashford had just come on that he emphasised the goal.

City brushed Brighton aside. A boring game for a neutral so no issue with it being on later in the programme and the positivity around Sterling and the performance was there in the analysis.
