Our passing has been woeful so far. Villa defending as expected and relying on the quick counter; so our sloppy passing needs sorting out. Need to quicken up our play to catch Villa out. Disappointing so far, but I expect Pep will give them a boost.. or boot

Walker in the last few games seems to think he has morphed into a combination of Van Basten and Pirlo.

Stick to the basics and let others shine.

He's clearly being asked to do it.

Why Pep thinks it's a smart idea to have everything run through our least technically gifted player.

Haaland's isolated, no-one's making space, and passing all over has been poor.

Stones and Dias looking solid but that's about it.

I want Alvarez on to inject a bit of life into the performance.

And if Grealish is fit enough, it's one for him too. We need to get some rhythm in our passing and we need to move the ball up the pitch with purpose and without losing it. That's what he does best, and I want to see him prove he has the mental strength to do it against his former club and a hostile crowd.
