We held on to about 3/4 players too long again. It’s admirable but ultimately new blood was badly needed and we stood still.

It’s not just the fact we’ve held onto 3/4 players too long. It’s the fact that those 3/4 players are well past their peak and still the best options we have in their positions at the club.

Walker is an absolute shadow of his former self but still 10 x the full back Rico Lewis is.

Kev is a fraction of the player he was but is still our most creative player by a considerable margin.
