Strange half that. Thought we were poor for the most part.

Burnley created next-to-nothing but the openings they did have must have all come from our pissing around at the back. We play it around at the back, nothing new there but there has to be some purpose to it. We are spending far too long in and around our own box with seemingly no intention of at some point moving through the gears and pushing forwards.

Haaland being Haaland has gotten us through a sticky half there.

A bit rusty, looked exposed from 10-20 minutes or thereabouts, but we have a man who when on form, scores two goals from two chances.

A bit of what Pep does best at half time and we should go on to win what might have been a tricky opener.

Hope Kev is OK, many will query if he should have started,

With this added time rule Sky/TNT need to put a clock up when the game is stopped for an injury. It should show the accumulated time just before the actual board goes up at 45 mins.

Kev stoppage 2m30s
Rico stoppage 30s
Erlings goals 2m
Because PGMOL feel like it stoppage 15m30s

Hope Kev is ok.
There were a few breaks where you just wished it was him on the ball.
Rico with one in particular, where I was shouting at the tv, get your head up son, get your head up.
Phil would have been through.

I think Haaland wants the midfield to play the ball over the top for him to run on
We're a year in. Of course he wants this. But it's not the way we do it. Screaming "pass it" 7 times a game is now just part of the experience. Can't argue with the results tho.
