It’s not easy against a very defensive team coached by an excellent team. But we are in danger here of sleep walking to an exit. We need to change our attacking players.

Poor first half performance. We could probably play ten of those without scoring. Everton look more likely to get the first goal. They pose a threat on the counterattack and with set-pieces anyway.

We’re not able to create the space for Sterling to operate. I love Sterling, but we’re not playing to his strengths and I doubt that he’s going to be able to affect the game.

Bernardo needs to do more and get in the game properly, if he really wants to be on a par with players like De Bruyne then he needs to make the difference in games like this.

Jesus and Sterling in particular need to do a lot more.

The team looks a bit tired today which is hardly surprising given the schedule, but one bit of inspiration will be enough to win this tonight.
