Alvarez is a problem, for us. But this is where Grealish’s injury couldn’t have come at a worse time, as Doku would be even more of a problem. Gonna have to get Kovacic or Nunes on and move Bernardo to the wing.

Nunes would be exactly the same or worse.

I know we are winning but every player needs to up it 10 percent. Keep the ball better quicken up the passing.

We can’t carry anyone this second half so Alvarez has to come off.

Some of our short passing has been poor and Rodri of all people needs to sharpen up a bit.

Pretty fantastic first half performance all things considered.

We have created more, we looked dangerous on the break, we look more likely to score, we've restricted them to one or two half chances in front of the kop. A second goal looks like it kills it. Would like for us to put our foot on the ball a bit more, and both Alvarez especially and Foden need to keep the ball better when it comes out to them.

But not bad at all.

Haaland's off ball play needs to improve. Bernie has to stop hugging the ball for too long. Alvarez...I don't even know what to say
