Alvarez unfortunately not at it today. Seems off the pace

He often does but then does something to influence the game. Reminds me of Mharez in that regard.. albeit clearly polar opposite styles.. with Mharez being technically perfect and Alverez being full of endeavour but both have this “thing” that annoys you during the game but you often end up reflecting on their performance after the game and thinking they were decent.

I don't think Alvarez has been nearly as poor as some are saying but he is a wildly overrated ball-striker.
