Football can be simple at times. No need to overplay when you can go direct, win the second ball and put it through to the Viking.

We use it as often as we can. It depends entirely on the opponent, not us. Anyone who goes man to man gets this approach. We always go more direct to Haaland when faced with this. It wouldn’t work without the opponent going man to man though, as the spaces wouldn’t be there.

Nice to see the big fella score, but Luton were wide wide open. A world away from the usual 11 men behind the ball we've been up against the last while.
