You'd take our best striker off? I'd take Dzeko off, shift Merlin into the middle and put Jimbo out on the left in front of Clichy.

They aren't leaving any space in behind for aguero. Dzeko been the livelier of the two in the first half.

I'm making the bold prediction, that Yaya will continue to do fuck all, yet won't get substituted. Instead we will take of a striker in order to let him stroll around the other team half for the last 20 minutes, doing fuck all. He's killing us, he really is

Best players so far have been Dzeko and Navas.
The formation is not right against Roma as they are so fluid in midfield. We are not tight enough on their playmakers whereas they are just the opposite.
Take Clichy off and please remove Paul Scholes from the screen. The guy is so anti City it's embarrassing.

It's prick like him that give city a bad name. You don't get pundits commenting on how anfield was quiet agaisnt ludogrets or how United fans are quiet every. The astmosphere is poor tonight but there is no need for the shit we get when other clubs are the same.

He has noone in front of him...there is absilutely nothing he can do about it....the tactics are at fault not the player

Are you kidding me? A long ball over his head and he didnt have a fucking clue where the ball was or Gervinho was. He bottled out of a challenge that nearly created a break away chance for them, he been absolutely useless tonight.

Why single him out though? Kompany has been awful. DeMichelis little better. The back 4 have been exposed by the wrong team shape.

This. Clichy has been poor, but no worse than the rest of the back four. Vinny's defending on the goal was fucking awful.

Just seems like another to add to the ever-lengthening list of fairly abject European performances from us. Real lack of balls being shown by a few, hiding from having the ball in anything resembling a tight area or under any kind of pressure. Only Silva who wants it all the time (and is capable of keeping it).

I actually think Navas has done alright, but would take him off for the shape of the team. I'd play Toure deep in the centre of midfield, Fernandinho and Milner either side of him, and Silva in behind the strikers.
