Phillips obviously suffers in comparison to Rodzilla, but he is pretty sharp on the distribution. Started the move for the goal very quickly.

He can pass the ball almost as good as anyone

The main difference is Rodri has exceptional positioning where he's almost always available for the ball, which allows him and us to dictate the rhythm of the game.

Phillips is fine on the ball, can't fault that side of his game but he doesn't dictate the game.

Phillips does not have presence of majestic rodri but to his due he can pass a ball, but unfortunately we need more tgan that to cover rodders

Agreed. But It’s very tough with all these changes. This team will never have played together before and until yesterday Pep would’ve planning a much stronger team. Some posters being way too critical.
