He needs to pull his finger out. This wont be a Sterling situation where he gets picked every week for a season in the hope that the form returns. He is barely getting a game, so when he does play, he needs to deliver. At the moment he looks to be just going through the motions and that won’t wash with Pep.

The lad he’s up against is doing his utmost but will likely tire. It’s also harder to do anything on the right tonight because we’re concentrating our forces on the left. Get the impression that both he and Grealish would benefit from scoring.
