That wasn’t his fault, Mendy got absolutely roasted to start the counter.

A good centerback either commits to playing vardy offside (which he was almost) or covering the through ball. He was positioned perfectly to keep him onside and leave himself no chance to intercept the ball.

Mendy used to have one of the best crosses in the game and he can't even offer that anymore. Lost his pace, can't defend. Cancelo needs to hurry up and get fit.
