Irony I hope.. His continual 5 yard pass rate to Toure is getting a bit predictable. he produced a great ball running up to the goal. He needs to be more adventurous.

disappointed! I'm surprised he didn't say it was Liverpool's brilliance that we copied to get a goal. The first half has been the most biased commentary I've heard from him and that says something. If he could find something to say about Liverpool's play he'd harp back years. The two minute section when he went on about Liverpool's achievements last season made me wonder just what did they win.

That'll do. Liverpool had some possession without really threatening and us pretty much the same until we turned the heat up for that short spell and got the goal. 442 won us the league and it'll win us plenty of games this year too. Same result second half will do nicely.

Not a great first half really Nando is out of position a lot and they are getting to much space in between our midfield and back 4 lucky to be 1-0 up at the mo and Pellers needs to sort this

Sometimes the radio announcers (listening to TalkSport via Sirius XM) seem like they are watching a different match than the rest. If you listen to them, Yaya has basically been a worthless lump on the pitch. Is that a fair assessment?

I hope like last year they slowly deteriorate as the game goes on. Their high pressing takes a lot out of them and being early in the season players are not still 100% match fit so our more approached play should count in our favour

Fernando has been class. Our best player by far I think. Pretty surprised with commentators suggesting that Liverpool have been better. Liverpool have been setup to get a draw, Sterling said that they are looking not to lose.

Not quite sure how manuel doesn't realise that yaya in a 2 will always get over run?!?!? With fernando and Fernandinho in the team it allows us to stay solid and for yaya to push on and get more involved upfield!! Also allows merlin more space to do what he does best.
