I don't know what is going on with him. He was massive for us this season. Now it seems like he has been replaced by a doppelgänger.

For such a talented attacking player we've made him into a workhorse defensive midfielder.

Fair enough. I don’t have the stat nor do I have any evidence but when City are losing or not doing well, he seems not to bother with the subs…almost like a ‘you see it out, since we’re losing due to your game’. That may not be the case but just my interpretation
