Surprised how lacklustre we are tonight , players being given a chance to impress and none of them apart from Lewis who has looked decent , Palmer and Alvarez just not getting on the ball , Foden being given his chance to run the midfield and not really taking the game by the scruff of the neck. Grealish again flattering to decieve , Mahrez just playing the easy ball everytime.
Pep should lay into them at half time , we are playing at walking pace and need to get at their back four , need to pass the ball quicker and generally they need a kick up the backside , second half can't be any worse than that tripe that has been served up.
sorry Lewis has looked shit and the worst of the lot. never in the right position.

Can we assume we've just equalised please? I'm halfway through my second bottle of Merlot and by the time Phil smashes one in I'll be too pissed to hold the laptop the right way up. So....

Yeah. I thought we started the season pretty slowly, and the derby felt like a turning point, the moment when we - and especially Haaland, Foden, De Bruyne and Grealish - clicked. But since then, it‘s been a bit frustrating. Slow, laboured, awkward shape, bit toothless (by our standards).

Jings, pretty poor show from us so far. Must be our worst run for years, 2.5 games without a goal? Need to up the pace 2nd half.
Another iffy showing from Gundogan in midfield, lots of pointing though.
At least Grealish has been behind some of our best moves down the left.
Palmer leaves me cold, looks too casual, thinks he's made it already.
Can't be any worse in the 2nd half, we will turn this round.

Feel sorry for Alvarez, always making runs but the ball always goes wide, wide then backwards.
Without Haaland we've become very predictable.
Yeah me too, but the worst thing is that
We are god awful at times
Unfortunately this has already been the trend for a while, but lately it seems like every opposing team is constantly overpopulating their defensive zone, even without a strong threat like Haaland. I mean, are they really worried that Alvarez might be the real Spiderman and might make a spiderweb to climb on the defense's backs?
